A few things I thought I'd share.

1) I've been reading up on various topics recommended by my parasitology prof and I think ignipes described it best as: Bed Bug Non-con.

2) Midterms next week are sucking my creative energies out my ears. On the one hand, I hate it when this happens. On the other, I am VERY proud of myself for learning about forty species of flesh-eating bacteria yesterday, and not getting itchy even once. (Okay, maybe once)

3) So, everyone's at WinCon? Just as well I guess, because it's gonna be a push to keep up with all y'alls mad posting frezies this week. All I have to say is: LAB COATS! and isn't this the ep with the yummy yummy grave digging? And Jared should maybe, maybe reconsider EVER putting a comb to his hair. What ever happened to cute and messy?

4) The Farrier short course I've been organizing is this Saturday. It's finally coming together, although I'm mildly disappointed that a bunch of people have dropped out (especially considering the fuss people put up to get in in the first place and the fact I warned them about TEN times it was the weekend before midterms). Am rapidly coming to the conclusion that, unless you are Eric Kripke, it's impossible to make everyone happy.

5) I think I maybe working on a raging caffeine addiction this year.

6) I want to enjoy Heroes and Studio 60. I really do. The first is a neat concept. The second is witty and snappy. I just... they're not doing a whole lot for me right now.

7) And my unpopular fandom oppinion for the day? The more I rewatch ELaC, the more I enjoy Jo. Discuss:

Jo: The Wank that Never Happened

(Or maybe I just run in the wrong circles, because everyone's reaction that I saw was either giving her the benefit of the doubt of very oh yeah!. I suppose it helps that her mom is utterly cool. (Perhaps I have a thing for cool moms. *g*)

I'm sticking with S60 and Heroes for the moment. But, I agree, they better gain some momentum soon!

hehehe. Isn't that funny? although I feel like a did read a lot of posts about people who weren't enthralled by her performance. I love this fandom. It's all about the lovin.

And yeah. i want to like them SO much, but oh well.

I think I was expecting so little of Heroes that I have been pleasantly surprised, so far. It's well creepy. And I love Hiro. He wins at everything.

that's good. He does win. I just... I feel like it's lacking something. Oh well, it takes writers a few eps to catch their stride. i'll hold out a little longer.

Oh man. I don't think I wanted to know there were that many different species of flesh-eating bacteria. I've got kind of a horror of being eaten. There were way scarier monsters, but the Wendigo is the one that gives me nightmares.

not all of them are the kill you in a few hours kind; there's only about six of those. And they mostly live on cows, as far as I can tell. :) I doubt you'll be eaten any time soon. (but then, why wasn't it the benders that scared you most?)

I really want to like Heroes too, but I only like a few of the characters. The dialogue is crappy. :( But the concept is so cool that I want it to be amazing.
