Supernatural 4x05: Monster Movie

So we start with angsty-Sam and manic-Happy Dean at Oktoberfest.

And we go to the funniest, craziest episode of the season so far. Very little substance, very excellent, classic Supernatural.

When Dean said that Hell erased his scars? I cried a little inside. And then I started to plot PWP. What can I say? REHYMENATED!

Jamie might be my favorite Damsel of the series. She might have to fight it out with Sarah from Provenance. She was AWESOMe facing down the shapeshifter, and just when I thought we were going to see things from his side, BAM.

And the shapeshifter? Was actually pretty great, even if he/she was a sociopath. I kinda wish Dean had been in the room when Dracula made his confession.

Sam saves Dean!

Speaking of Dean? His heart to heart with Jamie broke me. Until the god thing. Er...

So, all in all, what I think of the episode? DEHYMENATED. AGAIN.

See, now I am right there with you. I had a little Tao of Rodney moment sitting on Mel's couch, and I couldn't even share it, because she's only up to The Seige! But, uh, yeah, I very very quickly advanced directly to PWP.

Also, I gave Kripke five points for not making one single obnoxious joke about the shapeshifter wench actually being (presumably?) male.
