I don't know what version they used, but ANY version of that song makes me woobly. I pretty much start sniffling as soon as the first notes sound. I'm a complete sap for it!

It was Rosemary Clooney. I don't think I have the exact recording (though I'll have to watch again to be sure - oh, the pain!), but another beautiful one that I think she did when she was slightly older. Here you go, and I'll be looking for the other.

See, I knew I was in trouble the minute it started playing. That one's my favorite Christmas song in the entire world, and even as I was wibbling over the boys, some part of my brain was thinking, If this is a version with the 'We'll have to muddle through...' line, I am toast. This is not going to be pretty and then there it was. And it was not pretty.

Sadly, I can only contribute a very crackly Judy Garland version. Why do I not have a good copy of this? Huh.
