Ohhh, so you know how I might've mentioned once or twice that I was Jonesing for a kitten?

A first-year who runs a rescue in her other life happened to have a few in need of homes. One of those few happened to be a little grey male called "Leonard" I went over to meet him today and, well, I bet you can guess the rest.

He's about four months old.

And about twenty tons of cute.

He has a little hairless spot on his nose.

And he gets along really well with Henry's tail.

After an afternoon of playing with his new toys, it was time for a nap.

Before pondering how to break out of his temporary quarantine...

Kitties make everything better. Oh, and (shh) I introduced him to Phoebe; she didn't hiss once! In fact, she didn't even mind playing with him! It's a sign.

Now the million dollar question is:

Mine.

He is gorgeous. And Henry is a star.

n'aww he's totally teenage idol. And Henry is shockingly good about it when the kitten attacks his ears, especially.

Oh, 30 tons of cute, at least.

at least. Even more when he curls up in the crook of your neck and purrs.

So cute! I love it when kitties are in that gangly stage where their legs are starting to get long but they're still kitten-silly.

omg me too! (I was secretly kinda glad he wasn't six weeks old and still squashable by the dogs. At least now he's big enough to jump onto furniture and rub them eye-to-eye)

So precious! My cats never come when I call them by their names, so I am not sure what the point of naming cats really is, except to give us something fun to say. Heh. I would probably end up calling him Lenny, though. :)

Heh. Good point. Maybe I'll just stick with Lenny/Leo. Although I've never had a pet that I didn't name myself... huh. (bout time, i guess)

Eeee! So cute!

How does Henry feel about the new addition?

i know!! totally dying.

i think Henry's a little jealous that the kitten gets to eat the kitten food he's *really* like to. ;)

But he's very tolerant when kittyface tries to groom his ears.

Oh, he's so cute!

I'm jealous -- you're the second person on my f-list to get a kitten this week!

That is like, too much adorable for one creature! Seriously, the cute police are gonna knock on your door any second. Leo! Because he looks like such an imperious little lion in that first shot.

N'awww. I'm tipsy but that is not entering into my judgment that Leonard is THE CUTEST (aside from Mr. Henry, of course, who is My Prince Among Pets).

He's adorable. I'm going with Leo for his name, because I'm a classics geek.

You are totally not helping me fight my own kitten-aquiring urge. I'm trying to hold off at least until next year. This is the wise thing to do, I know. But. Fuzzy. And poor Wyatt could use some company... And there was that email with the one called Pudgy... *resists. resists mightily*

eee! OMg that's who I got him from! (She had Leo/Lenny at her house.)

GET ONE! After the block 1 final-- depending on your plans for christmas break is a GREAT time to get a pet :) (cause you know you're here to stay once you get through that, no matter how hard it gets)
