When reason has no relevance

Two days til test day! whee!!
I've been slogging through these notes like a slogging thing. It happened to be a GORGEOUS (if interminably slow) day and apparently while I was out studying in the grass, my kitty was inside, studying some grass of her own...
We're rolling

And we're rolling

And she's gone.
good lord, I can't wait until this is done and I can cruise into the city for a few days of running in Central Park and reading whatever I want and walking and window shopping in midtown and maybe actually writing something! (Do those of you still doing the school thing find it incredibly difficult to mass memorize and be creative on the same day? Because I do. Not to say that this field doesn't require creative thinking; it does. It just requires you memorize heaps of information before you can apply them in any meaningful way. And I'm not quite there yet.)
And just because it's cute, the little piggy that could. Roomie spent an hour and a half overnight trying to get this little c-sectioned piglet to breathe on its own, basically gave the overnight technicians a DNR on it, and came back in the morning to find...
This!

Sucker has SHARP teeth. I feel bad for its mom.
Is it Thursday yet? I've been watching the director's cut for this week kind of compulsively and all I have to say is...
...My heart. I think those boys have finally ripped it out and Krip had better find a way to put it all back together in forty minutes or less.

2007-05-15 22:33 (UTC)Thursday ... I've read about the director's cut but haven't watched it, as I want to see it "fresh" on Thursday. But the preview was enough to tell me that Dean's angst will probably hit me hard.

2007-05-15 22:37 (UTC)Yeah. I saw last week's ep cold and realized that the cuts are like teasers more than spoilers. Though they give away one scene in the beginning, they totally whet my appetite for more more MORE! plsthanks. ;)

2007-05-15 22:44 (UTC)Someone just mentioned that in an e-mail to me ... I'm still going to avoid them.
I think.
Probably.

2007-05-15 23:03 (UTC)Hee! Stoned!kitty! We once had a conservative Christian, non-cat owning friend over while one of our cats was in the middle of a major love-in with the wild catnip in our backyard. We cracked some joke about what a little druggie she was and the friend got all wide-eyed and horrified. "But drugs are a sin!"

2007-05-15 23:06 (UTC)Ahh, the uber religious never fail to crack me up.
And yeah. Should be grateful for the time to study, but at this point I want to gracefully accept a bad grade, bust this popcicle stand, have a beer, and watch my angsty boys angst away the summer.

2007-05-15 23:11 (UTC)OMG! THAT CLIP?!? We can squee in silence, cause I don't think anyone else around here has seen it, but ASDFKJSD. That boy can tug at the heartstrings with nothing by the power of his lashes. You know he's waiting...
For something.

2007-05-15 23:08 (UTC)The piglet is cute too, but I have to say that pigs are one of my least favorite farm animals.
