Yay! Another one! :-P Okay, I haven't been reading (or writing) any fic, but still. Oh, and on that front, just watch trek_news and the fics and art shall come to you. They list everything!
I started reading the novelization today while I was waiting at my dentist's office. A few small differences here and there, and the omniscient POV is a bit off-putting and feels lazy, though I can see how it made it much easier for the author who I'm sure was working under a tight deadline. The fact that I can picture everything from the movie also allows the author to be lazy with descriptions. But then again, I wasn't expecting a masterpiece. It's just nice to have it in written form.
