Before there were Winchesters

I'm rewatching the pilot (and only episode I own) of one of my favorite TV shows in forever: Jack and Bobby.
Seriously, why did they cancel this one? And worse, why did they never release it on DVD?
The framework of a retrospective on McAllister's presidency was a brilliant way to set up the show. The brothers were ... not snarky, exactly, but really brothers. Bobby's annoying in the adorable way that only little brothers can be. Jack does pissy, too-cool athlete / closet AWESOME big brother as well as Dean ever did. Mom is as driven, single, and smart as John Winchester ever was. Plus, she smokes pot.
Jack and Bobby are the cutest (pre-Winchester) boys, even if they've never cleaned a gun or picked a lock in their lives.
Anyone know where I can get more eps to download? (Keeping in mind that I'm a bittorrent!MORON) Love you lots!
